Jeroen received the Master of Science in Physics and Astronomy at the University of Ghent, with a major in astroparticle physics. For his master thesis Jeroen joined the cosmic ray working group of the IceCube neutrino observatory, hosted at the geographical South Pole. During his masters Jeroen was also part of the HACORD project of the department of elementary particle physics of the University of Antwerp which got selected for the REXUS/BEXUS program of ESA, DLR, ZARM, SSC and SNSB. Since 2016, Jeroen is persuing a PhD degree in the field of image processing and statistical shape modeling at VisionLab, University of Antwerp, Belgium.
